Danny reviews every request personally before a number goes back out. Nothing here locks you into anything — hang on to the quote a day, a week, however long you need. We work off the actual ZIP codes you send us, not a rough placeholder range, which is why most quotes land in your inbox before the afternoon's out. Nobody outside our Los Angeles office ever sees what you submit.

Pricing a Los Angeles apartment or condo move

An apartment move plays by a different rulebook than a house, and across Los Angeles the units we price split into two types whose numbers barely resemble each other.

Two jobs sharing a name

The Downtown LA or Santa Monica high-rise unit sits inside a building where a booked freight elevator and a certificate of insurance have to clear before the truck even reaches the loading dock.

The Silver Lake or Los Feliz walk-up sits two or more floors up in an older building with no elevator, and cost rides on the stairs and narrow street parking rather than a building office.

Type of unit Movers and vehicle Rate you can expect Notes on access
Studio high-rise unit, Downtown LA or Santa Monica 2 movers, 1 truck $450 – $720 Freight elevator window, loading-dock booking
1-bedroom ground-floor condo 2 movers, 1 truck $720 – $1,180 Reserved loading spot near the entrance
2-bedroom Silver Lake or Los Feliz walk-up 2-3 movers, 1 truck $1,180 – $2,050 Interior stairs, no elevator, narrow street parking
3-bedroom condo or townhome 3 movers, 1 truck $2,050 – $3,350 Interior stairs, HOA move-in window

Why ground-floor doesn’t always win

A ground-floor unit should beat a walk-up since nobody’s hauling a couch up three flights, but a few property rules can eat the savings. Some buildings and downtown high-rises ask for:

  • A booked freight elevator. Some Downtown LA and Santa Monica buildings hand out just one two-hour window for move-day freight service, and missing it bumps the job to whichever day the building opens the window back up.
  • One approved loading spot. Whatever dock number or curb space the property assigns, Priya locks it in before your date instead of the crew guessing at the entrance morning-of.
  • A visitor certificate of insurance. A handful of managed buildings want one on file; Priya sends it over so the freight elevator never gets held up.

No surprise fees on the rate

The number is the whole rate for a move anywhere in the city or the Valley. Whether it’s ground-floor or a third-floor walk-up, or the truck ends up parked half a block out, the total stays exactly what was quoted.

Fee people brace for What we charge
Stair or walk-up fee $0, built into the crew size
Fuel surcharge $0, built into the rate
Freight-elevator booking fee $0, included

One written number, our own crew

The crew is our own W-2 movers, never day labor, with Eddie Vasquez lining up any certificate or elevator booking and Marcus Boyd scheduling the truck around 405 and 101 traffic. A blank valuation form still means something under federal rule: coverage defaults to $0.60 a pound automatically, no paperwork needed. Prefer a higher ceiling? Tell us the declared value of the shipment and full-value protection swaps in for that default. Send over the address and which floor you’re on, and Marcus has a written figure back to you within the hour.

Why Los Angeles families call us for a move that has to beat 405 rush hour, a Silver Lake hillside home with a driveway a standard truck can't reach, or a downtown high-rise with a freight elevator to book

What We Commit To

Six Things We Don't Budge On

This isn't ad copy — it's what Danny and the crew hold to on every Los Angeles job, from a split-level in Sherman Oaks to a hillside address up in Glendale.

One Number, Start to Finish

The number Danny or Priya reads you over the phone is the same one on the invoice once the truck pulls up — a freight-elevator booking and a flight of stairs at the new address, none of it tacked on later.

California-Registered, Fully Insured

Our California household-goods registration stays current and on file, every load carries cargo coverage, and if a Downtown LA building manager needs proof of either, it's in their hands the same day they ask.

Payroll Crew, Not Day Labor

Every mover on your job is on Aragon Moving Systems's own payroll — nobody gets called in off a board the morning of the move.

What You Sign Is What You Owe

Book the number Danny quotes and that's the number due once the truck is unloaded, full stop. Traffic on the 405, a freight-elevator wait, a tight turn near a Glendale hillside cul-de-sac — none of it shows up as an extra line.

No Substitutions Mid-Move

Whoever shows up at your old address in the morning is still there when the last box comes off the truck at the new one — we don't rotate in a second crew partway through to save time.

A Window That Actually Holds

If the crew ahead of you is running behind, that's not your problem to absorb — Marcus calls with an update before your slot would be affected, and we make good on any inconvenience it causes.
