Los Angeles to Reno
Reno is our longest Nevada run, close to 470 miles north on I-5 before cutting over to US-395 and climbing into the Eastern Sierra through the Owens Valley. Families relocate for a gaming-industry job, a position at one of the manufacturing plants north of the city, or a bigger house for less money while staying inside driving distance of home.

The US-395 cutover is what makes this lane different from our other northern runs, since the road climbs through the Owens Valley with the Sierra Nevada wall on one side the whole way. Elevation changes fast on this stretch, and a winter storm can drop snow on the higher sections even when Los Angeles is sixty degrees, so Marcus checks the pass conditions before the truck commits to the route.
- Our own crew carries the load the full 470 miles into Reno, no truck swap partway
- Every item inventoried and padded, heavy pieces boarded before the climb into the Sierra
- Departure timed around winter conditions on the higher stretches of US-395
- Short-term storage available if your Reno closing hasn’t landed yet
One crew, the whole 470 miles
Your delivery date gets fixed on the first call, not guessed at once the truck is already past the Owens Valley. The same crew that walks your Los Angeles home is the crew unloading it in Reno, with no transfer partway up the state.
