Terms of Service
Asking Aragon Moving Systems for a number or locking in a booking means you accept the terms below. They apply to this website and to the moving, packing, and storage services our crew performs as a California-registered, insured household-goods carrier operating out of Sun Valley.
Our service area
We work Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley, Santa Monica, Culver City, Pasadena, Burbank, Glendale, Long Beach, and Sherman Oaks, with long-distance runs added on I-5, I-15, and I-10. Nobody outside our own payroll ever touches your shipment; we don’t place jobs with independent drivers or outside companies.
How your quote gets built
Getting your written figure starts with what you tell Priya: both addresses, whether a hillside driveway or high-rise booking applies, any stairs or tight access, driveway or garage limits, a rough inventory, and when you’d like to move. That number holds as long as the actual job matches your description, and nothing extra gets tacked on anywhere in Los Angeles County, no toll, no mileage fee, no fuel surcharge. Note that describing your move over the phone doesn’t reserve anything by itself: a date is reserved only after our office sends written confirmation.
When reality on the ground differs from the quote
Every so often a property turns out different in person than it sounded over the phone, more furniture than mentioned, a rougher driveway, occasionally even a different address. When that’s the case, work doesn’t proceed until you’ve approved the new number the crew presents on the spot. Barring that scenario, the number on your quote is the number you pay, full stop.
Rescheduling your date
It’s not who called first, it’s whose confirmation is on file first that holds a date. Tell us the moment your plans shift; the sooner you do, the sooner someone else waiting on our calendar can take the slot you’re releasing. Look to the agreement you actually sign, not this general page, for the deposit amount and cancellation window that apply to your specific job.
What we need from you
- An honest account of the job, room count plus anything unusually heavy or oversized
- A heads-up on hillside access, high-rise timing, stairs, or fragile items before the crew arrives
- Any building-management or HOA sign-off that falls outside what our office already handles
- Clear paths through doorways and walkways on both ends so the crew can work efficiently
Valuation coverage and filing a claim
Federal moving rules set the floor, and the valuation option you choose determines what sits on top. No shipment leaves without released-value protection already attached, it costs nothing and pays sixty cents per pound, per item, as the baseline. Full-value protection, if you choose it, prices out somewhere between one and three percent of your declared shipment value, with up to $1 million in cargo coverage standing behind it. For an interstate shipment, the clock on filing a damage claim runs about nine months from your delivery date, and whatever you submit needs to be in writing, not a phone call.
Using this website
What you read on this site is a general overview of what we do, refreshed now and then, treat it as directional rather than a guarantee that every word is current. Don’t use the site for anything unlawful, don’t interfere with how it functions, and don’t try to reach areas of it that aren’t meant to be accessed.
Changes to these terms
This page isn’t static: expect updates whenever our internal practices change or the regulations behind them do. Your move is governed by whichever version of these terms is live on this page on your booking date, not any earlier or later revision.
